COMPLETELY stepping out of my comfort zone with this outfit and post today! I spotted some of these fairisle leggings on a blog the other day and thought ''you know what, I quite like them''. I am not into ''fashion'' as such and definitely not into leggings at all, especially when people wear leggings as trousers (!!!) BUT I looked on ebay anyway and saw them for about £10... I decided to leave them as I wasn't spending £10 on something I wasn't sure about.... I then went into town this afternoon and spotted the exact ones I'd eyed up for a mere £5! Awesome huh? Anyway, I am still not sure about them or if I dare to wear them out yet (I'm a skirt/dress kind of gal) But sharing the love anyway....
I also picked up this 'mint' coloured shirt from Primark today for £3.... So this whole outfit only cost 8 quid altogether, just call me David Dickinson with this bargain hunting goodness.
My little pixie brogue boots were from New Look last year and cost about £7 too, so even more cheap goodness. What do you think? Can I 'get away with it'?? I'm thinking the same style top but just a touch longer, I'm very crotch conscious.
Crotch conscious is a good way to be. I'm all for leggings as trousers, but you gotta cover your minge.
ReplyDeleteHaha this is very funny yet very sound advice!
DeleteCamel toe a go-go
DeleteI love the colour of them, they do suit you! Just wish I could get away with them on myself too haha!
ReplyDeleteWith my beyonce behind I thought I'd be the last person seen dead in leggings! But alas I feel ok in these ones, they're not too tight either so really comfy.
DeleteI bought some similar but they're so baggy. Should have taken them back but meh!
Deletelove it! that shirt is lush :) x
ReplyDelete£3! £3!!!!!!
DeleteI love the colour of the shirt, but not too sure on the leggings. They look great on you but think they would look awful on me!

I thought they would look awful on me, they probably do in real life, but soooo comfy!
DeleteI like the leggings! It's good to branch out and try things you wouldn't normally wear. I bought a 'skater' dress last week, I wasn't 100% sure on it at first but it's really grown on me and everyone thinks it looks lovely. Glad I bought it now :-)

Skater dresses are so flattering for me! They cover up my massive hips, alas leggings do not, a few more times around the house and I might step out in them haha.
DeleteCrotch conscious lol - the very reason I've avoided buying leggings so far!
ReplyDeleteThe fairisle ones look lovely on you tho and definitely a bargain! :-)

Can't go wrong for a fiver eh!
DeleteThe leggings are so cute - I really like them. I'm crotch conscious too - it's better to be that way than not! I'm fed up with seeing leggings as trousers all the time!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Especially when they're cheap black leggings that may as well be tights!!
DeleteThey look funky! Are they thick though?
ReplyDeleteI really love those leggings, especially with the boots. . -xo
